I'm WAY behind on postings. I know. What else is new?
In the meantime (and in the spirit of being the total opposite of my friend †Brycrasch), PLEASE feel free to follow my facebook... for those of you in the know, I guess. I tend to update that a whole heck of a lot more.
Guess you can see where my loyalties lie, eh? (failure)
Will update... in time... as I can. Prom promise.

To resolve in 2010
Maybe ride trains more? I don't know. I'm really enjoying this trip back to NYC from that New Year's get-together in NJ last night. Especially because it's giving me time to blog.
Anywho, I usually find myself making one, two or three resolutions every year as the calendar rolls back around to January 1st. Typically, my New Year's resolutions seem to be made up of:
Well, seeing as I ended up buying a house, was late to work more than I would have wanted, withdrew from a few classes, wasn't the best with friends and certainly screwed up my fair share with some of the boys in my life... that resolution didn't work out so well.
For 2010, however, I'm shooting for three. I know, I know, if one got me nowhere, why am I even trying, at all?
Because I can. That's why.
So, for this exciting, even-numbered year, I'm going to touch on all three themes:
And should I also resolve to blog some more? I'm sure that, if I did, all of you would be happy, as well.
HERE'S TO 2010!
(and has anyone ACTUALLY decided if we're calling it "twenty-ten" or "two-thousand ten" yet? I prefer the former, for the record.)

- A deep thought
- Some tangible or practical statement
- An off-the-wall comment that actually makes no sense at all

It's almost been a month!
Friends, Romans, countrymen... my apologies. I know I said last month that I would keep you up to speed on here. I've just been busy. Very busy. But now I'm here, just shy of one month from my last post. Let's catch back up, shall we?
I also got to be an Armadillo for the first time two weeks ago in Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade. Now, I've been in every unit! It was a lot of fun (after I remembered the correct choreography eight loops in). Downside? We're all required to walk on J-Walkers now (as opposed to the option to walk on Bigfoots, my preferred method) and I was a bit nervous. Surprisingly, it was good and I didn't fall... until I got backstage. You see, I'm used to being on Bigfoots and able to still walk around on them after my legs had been taken off. But, since the legs were tied on differently to these new stilts, that isn't exactly the safest thing to do. Up I stood. Down I fell. Long story short, the stilts weren't completely attached to my legs, so I fell in quite an unimpressive and rather messy way. However, this "incorrect" fall was actually good, as if I fell the "right" way, they would have came up and hit me in the back. So... yay?
Last week, I went and saw Tiana's Showboat Jubilee at the Magic Kingdom. Words can't describe... this show is absolutely AMAZING! It's celebrating our new movie, "The Princess and the Frog", coming out on December 11th. I can't wait for the movie, it's going to be awesome. In the meantime, though, go see the show. And meet Princess Tiana and Princes Naveen. So much fun.
Finally, I got to hang out with Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora for the first time in nearly a year and a half this past Friday at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Before you pull out your calendar, yes, Christmas parties have already started. It's Disney. It happens. But it was a lot of fun and I get to do it again this Friday. Easy night with a fun lady (and I mean that in a good way).
Soooooooo, that's basically it. I'm back... again... so yay.
Thank you, loyal followers, for still following. Love you bunches!
Well, can you believe it? Not even three weeks out of training and I got to swim under the sea with Sebastian and all the other fishes on October 22nd! IT WAS GREAT! Absolutely LOVED it. I've even filled two more schedule holes since then, so I got to do it again and again! Gah! I'm no spectacular puppeteer, but I don't think I'm all that bad. Hope I get to play with Ariel more often!
What else? Hmmm, let's see... as mentioned earlier, I ran the final Tower of Terror 13K on October 24th, which was so much fun! Sad to see it go, but it was fun while it lasted. I crossed the line in 1:19:49, right at the pace I wanted to be. I'm still debating running the Marathon in January... let's see if I actually decide to do so!
OH! And it was Halloween on October 31st, for those of you that missed it. I'm not really all that big on the holiday, but I DID manage to carve my first pumpkin in at least five years and named him Skip! He's gone up to the great pumpkin patch in the sky now, but was super-cute and kept me company when not a single Trick or Treater showed up on my doorstep that night.

Some new stuff? It's like Christmas! (almost)
Ok, so, in recent months, I have sincerely sucked at updating this little lovely gem of a blog. I am fully aware of that fact. I've missed it and I certainly hope it has missed me.
But, as you may have noticed, there have just recently been a few changes in:
These past few months have been quite the whirlwind for me. But, after spending a couple of hours trying to make this new blog layout work for me, I've become rather tired. That, and I have school tomorrow, as usual. So I'm gonna go to bed now.
Lots to update everyone on! I'll get to it, I will! Have faith, the wait will be worth it (I hope).

Whoever thought having a blog could get you a grade?
Well, at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida it does! This post is for one of my classes. Can't forget my shout out to Dr. Kal! =D

Oh, and to all my loyal followers, I'll be back soon... PROMISE.

Go to bed!
I've been sitting here at my computer since I got home... which was three hours ago.Blame the weather, as I've had my window open all evening (morning?), just listening to the rain falling down. I love it when it's raining outside.
I've been all over the Internet, blogging (as you can see here), playing with iLife '09 (which I just got in the mail), and relaxing.
Today wasn't the best of days, but tonight has been nice.
Despite the relaxation, I once read somewhere that "nothing good happens after 3 AM... therefore, you should just go to sleep", which is what I'm about to do.
BTW, that bed in the picture above DEFINITELY isn't mine, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Goodnight!

Nervous
I do too much late-night blogging. I should be asleep.
Nonetheless, I'm kinda nervous about a certain something I'm going to tomorrow at 1. I don't wanna jinx it, so I'm not gonna talk much about it.
Just keep your fingers crossed, would ya? Strangely, I've begun to want it more and more since I got my callback last week. I'm only hoping for sub, definitely not a contract.
Okay, I've said too much. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes tomorrow.
Goodnight!

Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend 2009
I'm up reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy late, as usual, and thought to myself, "why don't I update my blog, since there's nothing else better to do at 3:30 AM!"

So, that's what I'm gonna do. Get ready... here come the super-posts!

Last weekend was the 16th Annual Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. What fun it was, as always! This was my fifth year as a volunteer Team Leader. Not only did I get to volunteer at the Expo on Friday, but I also got to be a Team Leader for about 50 people on Saturday! That was cool.
My crew on Sunday out in Epcot's Wonder Lot consisted of a total of about 160 volunteers and I was lucky enough to have some of the same folks from last year again. I was in charge of Bag Check and Gate Control, as always, and it was a good time. A little more hectic than usual as the day progressed and I ended up with 24 bags to take to Lost and Found. Not the worst, but surely no record. As always, 14 hours in that parking lot was a long time, but well worth it. I love volunteering for the Marathon.
Next year may be a little different, as I think I'm gonna be crazy and actually run it... I'm already prepping my resolutions for 2010 - one of them being "run every Disney road race I possibly can". Keep your fingers crossed for me!

One more thing
I really need to work on reducing the length of my posts. To my loyal followers, I promise I'll try to make them more concise for your reading pleasure.

Hey, look at this!
I'm blogging on a Tuesday morning! See? Told you I could break away from Sunday evenings.Anywho, I'm sitting next to Java City in the Library on Main Campus, listening to the amazing Josh Groban. I am also experiencing a little bit of deja vu, as I can specifically recall sitting at this exact same table on an afternoon in Spring 2007, listening to the exact same music, and feeling the exact same way: defeated, yet optimistic; relaxed, yet productive. A somewhat enjoyable feeling. My current facebook status even reflects what I had posted back then! I'm such a nerd.
Spring 2007 was a really rough semester for me, as I was still trying to gain confidence in my relationships with other people who are "like me" (although that crashed and burned pretty hard) and attempting to recover my rapidly-dropping GPA. Let's just say that I have made some pretty long strides in both those departments in a year and a half, although, it feels like it's coming back again.
True, I'm not in the exact same situation, but still. I'm not failing any classes this time around (even though I feel like I'm going to) and my heart hasn't been trampled on THAT badly. Still not doing amazing, but managing. I'm getting a lot of work done now that the deadline is here (as usual) and I've started taking a different view on my relationships: remain as myopic as possible and you'll never be disappointed! Ok, it's really not that bad, but definitely a good guideline. I haven't given up on a relationship entirely, it's just going to take more for me to get attached... which is a good thing. I've learned that some people will lose interest in you fast and not care at all, which is fine. When that happens, you just have to accept it for what it is, move away as quickly as possible, and never turn back - it really hurts otherwise. Deal with it and move on!
Well, I'm gonna go back to being "lost in a February song" and resume editing my movie for one of my hospitality classes. Strange combination, I know, but I'm really hoping to do well on this presentation.
... and my laptop battery just froze up and sent my computer into sleep with out warning. Huh.
... and there's this guy sitting two tables away from me that I've seen on campus a few times this semester and I SWEAR that I know him from somewhere... but it kills me because I can't remember at all. Don't you just hate it when that happens?
Oh, and two days until Wisconsin! Laters.

I should probably rename this blog...
... to "Late Sunday Nights", as recently, that seems to be the only time I'm finding to blog. Hopefully I'll get out of this habit soon.
Anyway, to make a long story short, this weekend has been, eh, alright. Work was fine, I got to drive a drum for the first time (it's one where there's a guy standing over me playing electric drums to the parade soundtrack), which was pretty cool, and schedules dropped early to reveal that I am scheduled a full 8 HOURS for the first time in FOREVER in two weeks! It makes up for my Friday off that week, so it's still gonna be the same pay. But still, it's the principle of the thing!
Randall and Amy have been visiting from Utah this past week. I've had the chance to hang out with them a bit and that was a lot of fun! Nice having a couple of "fresh faces" down in these parts. Their energy and excitement sure did help raise my spirits. Really great seeing Randall again and hopefully he'll be back down during Christmas.
Hamburger Mary's is amazing. Enough said. I will be going at least three times a month from here on out. You should go, too.
Did I ever mention that I absolutely DESPISE group projects? I mean, who honestly loves them? Group members' schedules never work out, everyone can't decide what they want to do or how they want to do it, and I have NEVER felt extremely confident in the finished product. I have one due on Wednesday that still isn't done and then an extremely long group paper due the Monday I come back from my vacation! Damn it.
Speaking of vacation, I'M GOING TO WISCONSIN ON THURSDAY!!! HOORAY!!! =D I'm SUPER EXCITED... can't wait. (CAPS usually means yelling loudly, which is what I'm doing, in my head, since my roommate's asleep... oh, you get the idea) Probably going to freeze my butt off, in the chilly 50 degree weather (I know, it's not THAT cold, but still. I'm a Floridian. Work with me.), but it will definitely be worth it. Happy to see Corey and Ryan again, as well as a state that I barely know anything about. I will be bringing some cheese home, though, so just you wait!
Well, that's pretty much been my week. Perhaps I'll work on posting at least two times in seven days, so each of these "Sunday night rants" won't be so long.
Now, off to bed... class in 5 hours. Ugh.

Motivation
Question...
How come every time I actually find motivation to do work I always get distracted?
Answer...
The Internet.
Today's lesson...
Don't use the Internet.
Well, crap. No Internet = No Blog. That will never work.
Back to being distracted...
